Helping folks build something they're passionate about is some of the most rewarding work I do.
The best engagements feel less like delivering a service and more like working on one of my own projects. I get just as invested in seeing it succeed. If that sounds like what you're looking for, I'd love to connect.
Technical Leadership & Strategy
This is advisory work, often an open-ended fractional CTO engagement. It's for founders and teams that need senior technical judgment without hiring a full time technical leader.
The work spans ongoing engineering oversight, technical roadmap, team structure and growth, architecture review, system design, technology selection, build versus buy decisions, etc.
Product Development
Sometimes I'm asked to go beyond advisory and do hands-on engineering work, with the same strategic perspective applied to the build itself. This usually ends up being an early zero to one product build or modern, scalable system architecture.
Scope can include product development, infrastructure and deployment, APIs and integrations, performance and scaling, security and auth, etc.
AI & Agentic new
Modern LLMs and AI can genuinely transform how teams work and what they can build, but the default move is to bolt AI onto existing workflows and hope it helps. I work with teams to demystify what's actually useful and put it to work where it can make a meaningful difference.
Scope can include finding where AI actually pays off, integrating it into how teams work day to day, designing agentic processes, evaluating what's actually working, scaling past pilots, etc.
